Windows 7 Defeats Harry Potter

Even Harry Potter, the boy wizard did not create the hype among the UK viewers like Windows 7 did. For the past few months, the Beta version was downloadable for the consumers absolutely free of charges. As the version earned high commendation from customers countrywide, the product has also surpassed all time records for pre-order.

The UK wing of Amazon, the retail giant reportedly affirmed that the new operating system was sold more than Vista in the first eight hours in July that was the beginning of the pre-order period. It is just today that the new OS actually hit the market.

Amazon UK MD, Mr. Brian McBride added that Windows 7 has outmoded expectations of everyone. Previously, Harry Potter held the record of the biggest pre-order product. The demand is still moving upwards.

Over the past three months, only Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol has only sold more copies than Windows 7. this is an implausible achievement for a software product.

With Windows 7 around the corner, it’s time for grabbing a fresh copy of the new OS. Cherish the fruits of long-drawn-out experiment and research work of Microsoft Corporation, go get it.
