Today we suffer a lot with the slow PC syndrome. But most of us do not know that the problem lies within the registry of our computer. The registry must have become clogged and overstuffed with data. Every single program and software takes a certain space in the registry. If you manually delete them from the registry it will create more empty space. Most of us have the habit of installing and uninstalling program frequently. It increases blank space rapidly and makes your PC slow. To avoid such situation you should use a registry cleaner. It will delete all the invalid entries from your registry and speed up computer. But while using a registry we need to be careful of a few things (you can also ignore these at your own risk).
First, You should always make a back up for both Windows XP Home and Professional Edition. To create a back up you should click Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tool > Back up. You should use the back up facility to while downloading all the files to an external drive or a disc.
Otherwise you may set up the restore point where the pc can go back to the point whenever you want. To do this you need to Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore. If anything goes wrong or you want to discontinue the cleaning process you can do it and go back to the restore point quite easily.
Finally, the registry cleaner you will use to delete all the useless information from the database and optimize Windows XP be a good one. Otherwise it will be of no use; rather it can be more harmful for your PC.
