How is Windows 7 better than Windows Vista?

It’s a well known fact that Windows 7 is an updated version of Windows Vista. According to experts, the operating system Windows Vista should have been filled up with the features that Windows 7 is offering. However, Microsoft has made Windows 7 an updated version of Windows Vista.

This is because of the fact that Windows 7 has features that prove it to be more than just an improved Windows Vista. A number of differences exist between a Windows Vista and Windows 7 and this sets this new operating system apart from its predecessor.

In comparison to Vista, Windows 7 uses a smaller amount of resource. Windows 7 does not require the system setup as required in Windows Vista. Instead it requires much less than what is required in Vista to run properly. Windows 7 can even make a good program run in Windows XP computers. It is a lot easier to tweak and customize Windows 7 in comparison to Windows Vista. The former has better back compatibility.

In Windows 7 it is lot more easy to sort and share files over a network. It is possible only due to the revamped My Documents folder and the new home groups. Windows 7 has now made the work much easier because of its new taskbar. The icons in the task panel can now be rearranged according to the user’s necessity. It is now more improved than the earlier. A right click in the icon pulls up a list menu which is available as a full screen preview.
