When you are traveling in the air you cannot take a walk in the station to pass your time nor you can talk over your mobile phone but you can surely keep in touch with your virtual friends. Yes this can be possible from now. Whenever you will take Canadian flights you will hear announcements about the plane’s new Wi-Fi Internet service.
This Wi-Fi service has been introduced in two Air Canada Airbus 319’s that flies from Toronto and Montreal to L.A. and only over American airspace. This facility is brought to you via GoGo which is an American company that has been providing Wi-Fi service to U.S airlines since last year. The company soon will be working with an Ottawa based firm called SkySurf on Wi-Fi service for Canadian airspace.
The company is looking forward to the feedback from the trial run of this service. Accordingly, it will make deals with owners of wireless networks across the country. The goal is nationwide air-to-ground Internet by the end of 2010. Till then this service will work within the boundaries of American airspace only.
Passengers can email to their offices, check scores, shop and even read newspapers online with Wi-Fi service. This service has made its mark among business travelers. Just fly high with Wi- Fi in the Canadian skies and stay connected.
