Scan Your Scanner before Starting a Scan

A Scanner is defined as a device that optically scans images, printed text, handwriting, an object and converts an analog picture into a digital image. But often people don’t have the knowledge of how to scan.

Following is a step by step solution to make your Scanner work according to your requirement:

1. Carefully make the Scanner glass clean with a cloth piece or glass cleaner. Allow it to get dried.
2. Before using it make sure that the Scanner is on.
3. To start the scanning process place the item on the scanner glass with the image facing down.
4. Run a preview before starting the scanner software.
5. In the preview if the graphic or the picture appears to be tilted line it up and see the preview.
6. When you are seeing the preview, outline the desired areas with your mouse.
7. If any image editing softwares are going to use such as Photoshop scan every colored images as ‘millions of colors’
8. Adjust the resolution of the scanner to 300 dpi for printing and 72 for web scanning.
9. Adjust the brightness and contrast options for the scanner.
10. To scan a image click Scan or Final.
